Villa Description

The copious entrance hall has a guest bathroom and access to the reception rooms as well as the 3 ground floor bedrooms. Patio doors from the hall lead to a delightful sheltered courtyard where the large table and chairs are part shaded by a sun sail allowing you to dine al fresco in style.  The cheerful, bright and relaxing lounge has two large couches, and other seating and a feature corner fireplace. There is a large flat screen TV, a DVD player, a music system with USB port, and Free Wi Fi, and patio doors open onto a large semi-shaded terrace near the pool.

The unusual circular dining room has an antique brass candelabra over the a marble-topped round table and there’s a pretty garden view from the dining room window.  An archway from the dining room leads to the lounge and hallway, and there is a door to the adjoining separate kitchen.

The large bright kitchen has traditional hand-painted tiles and many cooking aids and appliances for catering for a large family, including electric oven and hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and lots of crockery, pots and pans. From the kitchen a door opens onto a small courtyard with a laundry area and a washing machine.  A built-in BBQ kitchen in the kitchen courtyard is both practical and useful, being close to the covered patio and dining area near the pool.

Three bedrooms are located in a ground floor wing off the entrance hall. Bedroom 1 has twin beds. Bedroom 2 has a 5 ft bed and doors to a sun terrace. The family bathroom is located between Bedrooms 1 and 2. Bedroom 3 has twin beds, en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, toilet and  it opens onto a sun terrace.

The air conditioned Master Bedroom upstairs has a 5 ft bed, an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and toilet and there is a dressing area with built-in wardrobes. The bedroom has pretty sea views and access to the roof terrace.

There is air conditioning in the lounge and upstairs Master Bedroom, but not in the cooler ground floor bedrooms. Electric fans are available if required.

The villa is on a large private plot surrounded by trees and mature shrubs with lots of space to spread out and avail of different aspects of sunshine during the day, and there are several patios facing south, west, east and north, a shaded pergola with picnic style table and seating, and there is an attractive roof terrace with a table and chairs for good measure!

Located in a quiet residential area, the villa is under 10 minutes’ walk to the Blue Flag beach at Porto do Mos, and the same distance to shops and restaurants, and about 5 minutes’ drive to Lagos. Tennis, horse riding, cycling are just some of the local activities on offer, and there are several excellent golf courses within a 15 minute drive. There ample private parking.

There is a bus stop nearby with a regular service to Lagos centre, but a car would give you more flexibility and give you the opportunity to explore the amazingly beautiful coastline and the mountains inland.  Please see our Car Hire page for more information
